Columbia Gorge International Film Festival. Plus Bobcat Goldthwait!

An Eventful Week
Jeff, Bobcat, and Tucker

Hey everybody! Tucker here. It has been a big week. Last Friday night Jeff and I saw comedian and filmmaker Bobcat Goldthwait perform at Liquid Laughs in Boise, Idaho. It was a great show and we got to have a quick chat with the man himself after the performance. He was very gracious and assured me that Willow Creek, his new found footage bigfoot picture, will be getting a VOD release in the near future. So that was pretty great.

Then, it was off to Vancouver, Washington to the Colubia Gorge International Film Festival, where my film, The View from Here, was screening. We had a wonderful time. The screening was a technically a little upsetting, as the sound was not nearly loud enough during my film, but most of the audience was able to hear what was happening. There was a fun Q&A afterword, and then we were informed of the award ceremony, which was taking place directly. So, with absolutely no expectations we decided to take in the awards as it was close to where we parked. And wouldn't you know it? We won the Films With Impact Award! Very exciting. So, thank you to the nice people at CGIFF and to all the filmmakers we were able to meet and whose work we enjoyed. It was a great experience and I wish I could have been there for more of it. It was encouraging and we felt appreciated and embraced.
